The Head of Steam Newcastle hosts the brand new emerging music festival in North East England, Subwaves Music Festival. With an abundance of incredible talent from across the region due to be announced we are packing out The Head of Steam Newcastle with local and national acts with original and cover music. Get to The Head of Steam Newcastle on Saturday 4th August from 1pm til 10pm for music of all genres and styles. From pop music and covers to heavy rock and all in between. A Dying Reign –
A Dying Reign are a 4 piece metal band from the North East of England, inspired by Meshuggah, Decapitated, Sikth, and others.

Saints of War –
A unique sound consisting of melodic Vocals combined With driving riffs, punchy Bass lines, and belting Drums gave them the edge that they were looking for, Guaranteed to lift the roof off any venue.

The Filth Hounds –
The Filth Hounds have shared the stage with bands like Y&T, Tygers of Pan Tang and Graham Bonnet. They have recently played to 2000 people with Jess Cox

Beyond Blonde –
Five Piece North East covers band performing rock & pop from 70’s till now.

Eye Bleach–
Post-punk 3 piece based, with big shows.


Chris Pryke –
Chris Pryke is an Acoustic Pop Singer-Songwriter From North East England. Debut EP ‘Cast A Storm Over Me’ OUT NOW On iTunes.
